Nutech Thunderbolt II Pro Race Buggy First Run At Milestone Raceway, Riverside CA
This was my first run with the Nutech Thunderbolt II Pro Race Buggy. I was running a CY race ported 28.5 with Nutechs tuned exhaust for the 5th scale RC car line up. The buggy was a little bouncy, so I will have to experiment with different shock oil, but other than that it performed great.

Nice!
The XT-5 is still in the prototype stage, they should be getting to the testing stage soon. I have to agree with you it does look pretty cool, cant wait to test one.
Hey palm do you know when the new xt-5 will be out or is it still being tested for any defects. It looks fathering awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
Based on what the TB2 pro will have on it, hands down, the TB2 pro will be way better than the 5B. Much more parts, including the suspension, c-hubs, braces, etc, are all alum alloy.
It performed better than I expected and definitely better than a stock can, it will produce good power and for a lot of people it will be enough. However, there are other tuned exhaust pipes that will produce more power. You can check out my other video where I mounted a modified CPI pipe to the TBII and you will see the difference.
How to you think Nutechs tuned exhaust performs compared to other tuned pipes?
I like that Redcat Rampage Dune Runner...bigger boy and wider stance...better control with 4WD...
jingle all the way .....sounds familar!!
That is a hard question as they are both great cars. It really all comes down to preference and I personally prefer 4wd so in that respect I would go with the TB II. Now with that being said for really hard core jumping and bashing the 5T is hard to beat.
which do you like most to ride the Thunderbolt Nutech or baja 5t
