Meanwhile, Kinue Crossroad's younger brother Saji travels into space via the Human Reform League's orbital elevator for an educational study tour. Saji is accompanied by his fellow student Louise Halevy, who seems to view this field trip as a romantic vacation. The Human Reform League begins a performance test of the Tieren Taozi, an experimental mobile suit designed exclusively for the super soldier Soma Peries. Celestial Being sends Allelujah to observe the performance test, but he and Soma react strangely to each other's presence. When Soma loses control and opens fire on the nearby low orbital station, Saji and Louise find themselves in deadly danger.
