Like a lot of tuners they will dabble with RC to do stuff they otherwise would not be able to do with their real cars. I've seen more than a few shows where the RC looks exactly like the 1:1.
More often than not the Tuner or Driver is not all that good with RC but you can't fault the guy for playing with toy cars some of the time.
