No, I've only had it a few days but so far not a single problem. It seems really tough, I've read about the problems with the diff output gear breaking but so far so good for me.
The Summit is the ultimate trail runner I think - you can go from speed to crawling from the radio, There aren't many places it won't go too!

I was using Duratrax 4200 nimh packs, fairly old and not in the best condition. For the time that I was recording this video I'd say we were running for about 20-25 minutes. About 5 minutes of that was running in high gear, the rest was crawling. Runtime is really good for the Summit.

The new Traxxas Summit! Box stock, 2x 6 cell NiMh batteries. Some parts are in high gear and some in low, it should be obvious which for each. Diffs were locked for most of the trail and rock crawling portions.
